I am a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Western University and Associate Director of the Rotman Institute of Philosophy. I completed a term as Director of the Institute in July 2023, during which I held a Western Leadership Chair.

I am an Associate Editor of Philosophy of Science and am on the Editorial Board of Foundations of Physics.

My main research interests are in history and philosophy of physics, general issues in philosophy of science, and seventeenth century natural philosophy.
